The drivers side window switch on the passenger door should not be hard, but you will need to add wires through both doors.
Why would you want this?

As for the mod, our switched dont have circuit boards behind them like that, but I am sure there is a way to mock up wiring for a click up window, just requires another switch.......

That has me thinking

I have to mod the circuit so the window lock only disables the rear windows and not the front passenger window. My better half is always adjusting her window but the dog likes to stick her head out the window in the back and step on the up button. That dog's lives have been running out when I forget to put the window lock back on.

if you can get your hands on the wiring book for your truck it will detail the path and colors of the wires for the netire window system, looking at the diagrams will tell you where to run a switch/modify to do this......doesnt sound too hard to me, all the wires are there its just a matter of knowing which ones to splice....

Couple options here, in order from easiest to most difficult.

Reverse the polarity at the window motor. THis only works for the driver's side window, and your switch will need to be reversed too, either in your mine (i.e. pressing up when you want down) or on the switch.

Find an auto-down module from an explorer, and splice it into the harness.

Build your own auto down circuit. This would require a latching device (SCR, etc) and some electrical knowhow.

I already tried to add auto up and auto down/auto up to the passenger window.

It's not in the switch, it's in a relay. There is a delayed relay that enables the auto down feature. Anyway, after studying 2 different wiring manuals I came to the conclusion that adding any auto whatever features to the windows using the factory auto relay will be very difficult and not worth my time. Maybe you could rig up something using resistors or capacitors to work with the signal charge and fool the system, but they wouldn't be able to be stopped like the factory auto relay.

Short story long: I've already researched it heavily and it's very hard and not worth the work IMO. If you want to prove me wrong, go right ahead please.
