any idea what this part/hose is called and what to replace it with?

I think it may be responsible for my coolant leak or possibly a vacuum leak. I can't seem to find what its called though, at first i thought it was a standard radiator hose but it seems to be bolted in at the bottom.

That is the thermostat housing, two bolts hold on, it is simple to remove and replace. Has the pipe rusted from the inside out?
