I dont know what it was that happened but it was like it when I bought it from the previous owner, but the back right next to the rear bumber on the passenger side isnt connected to the body anymore. I dont know off the top of my head what it is but its at the bottom of the body, goes front to back with the wheel flares connected to it. Ive tried some gorilla glue but to no avail.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

pictures? I can't figure out which part your refering to. Could you be talking about the fender trim or skirt maybe?

Same here^ Pictures would help. Bumper mount maybe?

if you are talking about the ground effect (most likely you are......i think), and are trying to glue it back on, and it keeps falling off, try using urethane.

RIVET!!

or trim adhesive and clamp it overnight......

that's all i did with mine was squeeze some urethane in there, then tape the ground effect to the body until it drys. the good news it will hold for ever. the bad new, it will hold forever!

Ill try that thanks! Also I just saw this when I went to go take the picture but you can see it in that picture that the bumber is like pulled back about an inch and a half. The driver side of the bumber is right up against the ground effect, the passenger side has that gap visible in the picture. Any ideas on that?

There should be a small gap in there to allow the bumper to "give" a little before smashing the sheetmetal. Every straight Explorer I've seen has about an inch-or-so of space between the bumper and that trim piece.

Ok so is it the driver side thats pushed in then? In the picture you can see the gap between the bumber and ground effect on the passenger side, the driver side is against the ground effect. Is it just an easy fix "pulling" the driver side of the bumber back into place?

There are only 4 bolts that hold the bumper in place- if you loosen them, you can move it around and get it leveled up again...
