k it looks like April won out even thou only 7 people voted. I think I'll be in Newport RI the weekend of April 4-6. Other than that my schedule can be free as much as I can have advance notice

Ok so my trip to Newport has been extended to another weekend. So does anyone else have any other dates they wanna throw out???

You should probably set a date in stone. If people can make it, they'll show. I am sure once Jons work calms down. He will probably go. Asking for dates has never worked in the past.

Well I'm still cool w/the April 5th date. That's a Saturday & even if I'm not in Newport I can still drive somewhere in MA, RI or CT.

John, I know you have been REALLY busy but does this date work for ya?

So I have sent a mass PM to all who live in CT & MA. Here's a copy for the Saturday April 5th meet:Ok I have set this Saturday aside for the meet. But seeing as how this email is going to the group that lives in MA & CT we need to come up w/a common ground area to meet. I could suggest if people are interested to meet at my house in Manchester CT & have a lil gathering of food & drink or we can do a mutual restaurant.

Please get back to me either way of PM or post in the thread.

Hopefully this covers all bases. I have gotton responses back from John, Sandy & Daniel today

Oh I don't have a problem w/people that I haven't met come to my house. I've pretty much met most of who might be showing up already.
Plus this is a good way for those that are new to the club to feel more comfortable & carefree for when we all do spend more time w/each other on longer trips etc....

well I'm game to attend the meet even though I traded in my explorer. I'll be bringing those parts with me assuming some of you guys want them.

Has a decision been made on where we are meeting? I get off work at 3pm that day so I may be a little later showing up than most of you but I will be in attendance

Sorry for the late notice, but I'm MIA... work....work...work and to top things off my starter is on its way out.. 3 times this past week I've had to whack the starter to get it going.. I need to replace it before I drive any distance from home.

my trucks been totalled by the insurance company. im grubby little hands on a nice mounty down the street. ill know tomorrow. if i get it im in. since everyone is gonna be going by my house to get to yours does anyone need parts? the truck was pretty nice and id rather see the parts go to a good home than a wrecking yard.
