I was wondering that myself

Now I'm worried about him

Now I'm worried about him
Yeah.... so am I ....hate to jump to conclusions but as much as he was a regular and now not a peep I'm assuming he might not be with us any more.

Phil (koda2000) is a huge asset to this forum, and very few have more hands on experience with Gen 2 Explorers.

Pray he is well. I'll email him and post back if I get a reply.

Have not talked to him yet, assume im to much a newbie here but best wishes folks!

@koda2000
Where U at?

Last seen 12/07, 10 days nothing to start freaking out about yet!

He haven't posted since October

I'll email him and post back if I get a reply.

Nice to hear from you. I'm fine (well as fine as someone can be these days). I've just became tired of people asking the same old questions about the same old problems. I wish people would just learn to use the SEARCH function. If they can't find the answer there no one knows the answer. I guess I just felt like it was time to open a new chapter in my life.

I hear you Phil, it is hard sometimes to be cheerful with the same questions.

Take care and keep busy with things that you like to do.

On search function I've witnessed it go bonkers....searches popped up and then disappeared from "matching list"...

I think a portion of that problem comes from the fact people call parts by different names. Or are in different countries, Like here and England Trunk/Boot or Hood/Bonnet stuff like that. I know i can be bad about what things are called or how to explain correctly.

I don't mind helping the new members, they seem to appreciate it more sometimes.

The only big name word misuse I hate is "intake." To me and the world before about 1990, an intake was an intake manifold. Never was the air cleaner or filter, or the inlet pipe or hose called an intake. Now everyone names the entire air cleaner/filter/pipe assembly an air intake. That is wrong and dumb, the word intake is short for intake manifold, and it should always stay that way.

Below pictured, is my Volant air cleaner, it's a very good upgrade with a nice big air filter inside, Amsoil universal cone type. I would never call that an air intake, yet I know the description of it way back when it was available, called it that.

Anyone remember the movie "Shane"?
In the last scene the kid called Shane to come back.

Koda, COME BACK!

Maybe he really went to the dark side and is into imports now?? ....and that response was just a deflection....
