Anyone ever raced their sport trac?

:S i guess i was way way wrong, according to the stop watch and were we had the quarter mile marked out i was running 14.97 i guess we were off and were the quarter ended at. but i just went and ran it and heres the result i got

Go to the track and get a "real" time slip.

Is there anyone that has run a stock st up the 1/4 with real numbers, Im curious to know. I dont think they'll do 16's but I could be wrong.

The 4 door explorers with the sohc run high 16's stock, and the 5.0's low 17's so I'm guessing that a sport trac is somewhere near there.

i dunno, the reason i said running a 14 is because the people we race against, counted a quarter mile and we ran that with someone at the end when the truck comes across the line they stop the clock, and they said it was running a high high 14, but superchips is suppose to be accurate and when i did it last night it said a 15.47,im not really worried about what im running i just think its a fast truck, but im putting lift and stuff on it to stop from racing cause if i dont i cant seem to keep my foot out of it

nope ive havent made it down there as of yet, i do plan on taking a few trips this summer down there since the only track available in clarksville TN
is a 1/8 and im really interested to see what i could run in a 1/4

please list all the mods you've done so far to get it that fast, because a cold air intake and tuner are not going to get you there

well the track down here is only 1/8th too and hunstville is 1/8 as well the closest 1/4 is in steele, alabama

All I know is my mom's 01 S/T surprises me at how fast it is for a relatively large SUV. This is simply by the seat of the pants meter, as I have no real means or time to actually race it.
