Personally, those are my favorite, next to LED's of course haha.

I replaced my reverse lights with them, front blinkers, license plate lights, interior lights, the lights in the bottom of the doors, my glove box, and the reverse lights in my taurus.

I took a few pics, of one in the reverse light in the taurus, one blue bulb (in the left) and the stock clear bulb in the right.

Sorry theyre not the best pics, it was with my phone.

The clear bulbs look brighter in the pics, but in real life, I dont see a difference.

(Stock clear bulb) These pics make the stock bulb look actually white, compared to its real yellowish tint.

I also have the LED taillights in there, I love the look of them.
I plan to put the blue bulbs into my explorer taillights, it actually makes it a deeper red color.

I was followed by an Escalade last night with all blue bulbs at the front and normally the vehicle behind helps illuminate the road in front of you. But nope, with this Escalade behind my Civic, it was like I was the only one on the road.

I currently have those "blue" type bulbs lighting my interior, they seem to put out a bright bluish-white light that seem brighter than the stock "clear" bulbs

I tried them once in my reverse lights. The light output was terrible. I removed them the next morning. What a waste of money (APC bulbs aren't cheap). OEM bulbs are more effective. Purely for show. I also tried them in my tails. I was looking for something brighter after tinting my tails too dark. They weren't any more effective in the tails.

Im not talking about the HIDs which is what he obviously had, these arent headlights, theyre just for like anything but that.

They look just right on a Taurus. Not sure about an X. But, you know what you like so go for it.

Thanks man

But yeah I should have been more specific, if you want performance, these arent the answer, but if you want a cool custom look, for cheap then go for it.

That's the thing. Lights are about seeing and being seen are they not? I've never understood the point of reducing your light output just so you can look "cool" (in your eyes anyhow). Some of the lighting mods I've seen around town (on a lot of ricemobiles) are certainly high up in the "what was I thinking?" category when you look back in a few years.

Uh, these are just reverse lights, and in my interior theyre actually brighter, plus they look better. I dont drive a ricer or anything close to one. Remember, these are just lights...

That's why I ditched the APC reverse bulbs I had. I couldn't see out the back as clearly as I could with regular bulbs. They definitely made my tail lights dimmer as well (my objective was brighter tails with formerly tinted tails).

I don't think those bulbs look ricey per se. But what I'm always hearing from you is you're more concerned with how lights look rather than how they perform. Then again you're 16 and when I was your age I was it was 1980 and we had some pretty crazy tastes that make me roll my eyes. My grad photo in '82 shows some pretty big hair. :D

Lmao i was never into the big hair, but yeah, I dont really drive at night, well besides leaving work, or my girlfriends house, and its been the same procedure for years now backing into my garage, I could do it with my eyes closed, but I still can see with the APC bulbs, with headlights, im more concerned about brightness, but if i can get some "look" well hell yea! :D

1, im 17 in a few weeks, but permit, plus my mom always let me drive through my neighborhood lol

I couldn't do that. I would look for appeal through performance, not appeal over performance. I know they make LED retro-fitted bulbs because I have two in my interior; they're probably on ebay.
