I'm curious how many people have extended their Explorer warranty ??
FORD ESP
My wife's Explorer XLT is two years old with 32K. It's had a torque converter and other related tranny items replaced on it...already. So I bit the bullet and bought an extended warranty through Ford. It goes to 7yrs/100K, cost just over $2,000 and has a $50 deductable. I generally don't bother with warranty stuff but I figured this thing has alrady had over $1k worth of work done to it and it's only two years old. Typical Ford. in fact, it's going in in a few weeks because the front struts are squeeking over bumps. They're replacing them under warranty. Oh well. In a way I hope it pays for itself....well, maybe not
