i want to make a custom cargo cover that fits into where the roll out one goes, but is made out of wood, and covered with carpet.

has anyone made one on here? its for a xlt 93

Do you have any tools for working with wood? If so, I would suggest these steps...

1. Measure
2. Cut
3. Glue Carpet
4. Set in place...

DONE!

This really wouldn't be that hard of a project. I'm currently working on a platform with drawers underneath that sits above my wheel wells. Same kind of idea as you, just lower.

I've seen the bed of trucks made in to big drawers. The same thing could be done in the cargo area of exploders.
Check it out...a good piece of plywood, a liitle carpentry skill and voila...what good be hidded storage and potentially more useful.
This following website is a location for the slides necessary to make it work.
I'm going to be adding this effect to my "sport"
