I lifted the picture from another fellas thread. Sounds like he bought it with the bumper already on there. He is also in Australia so it could make my search much more difficult.
It looks like an ARB but they don't list the explorer on their site. Anyne know a company making this sort of Bumper for the exs??

I'm sorry man, but that looks horrible..

lemme join the pile and say :thumbdwn::fart:

On a lifted X and in black maybe, but not like that.

Well I'll be the oddity in the group and say function over form and overall, that bumper looks like its got quite a bit of function.

Does not appear to be DOT approved. That's meant for passing through harsh brush and kangaroo :)

eww

Looks like a buck-toothed x

I want one for my X. It has to black though. I think I will wait a couple of years until I am ready to make X my dedicated off-road vehicle (SAS rebuild of the rear end).:D

If it was black I'd have one!!!

Wow, do I have this right? You are going to convert your IRS on your 3gen X to a solid axle one day? This would make a killer how to thread!

It would be a hell of a lot easier than doing a 2nd gen SAS -- no steering involved. Just cut the old IRS structure, hang some leaf springs or links and mostly everything else is a bolt on.

Right now my X is my daily driver, so not any time soon. It is paid off and some day I would love to lift it more. I might need some help though as I have very little experience in that area. Anybody in Colorado want to cut up a perfectly good 3gen? :troops:
