that goes around the reverse light socket in the brake light assembly? 1.50 part I'm guessing. Right rear brake assembly condenses water in it anytime it rains.

Son went off to school, we got him a 4runner and I'm keeping his 07 Explorer with 276k miles. Love the car. It's the base package. Picked up a BOSS 10 inch screen stereo, reverse camera (for the wife), and I'm going to start fixing this up with the knowledge I eventually may have to drop an new engine in it. It's been maintained on schedule.

Welcome to this forum! You could buy rubber gasket material, and cut your own gasket or if you're into 3D printing, you could make one out of TPU or TPE.
sounds like I've got some yt videos to watch.

Since it's a small part, you might be able to make one with a 3D pen.
I didn't know those existed. Had to go look at it on yt. Not sure plastic would give that same tight bond as rubber.

TPU & TPE are flexible thermoplastics which are like rubber when used as a gasket. Layer adhesion is excellent to create a seal. There are gasket making sealants which are used on bolted parts
Okay, that's something I can work with. I'm not a gearhead but I've alway putzed with my cars in the traditions of our forefathers. I found out that the part is a "sealing grommet". Going to go by autozone to see if they carry them by chance. TPU,TPE, are they used with a 3d pen? Otherwise it's a little much to invest in a 3d printer for what appears to be a standard part that has to be out there, if only in a junk yard. I do truly appreciate the help you've offered.

Picked up RTV, going to fashion a seal with that. But good to know about that pen. Will need to pick one up. Hopefully, it's just the seal.
