I got my HID's at Mobile HID (
http://www.mobilehid.com ). They state they are waterproof and shock proof. I can verify both. I had them on my 2000 Ranger (headlights and foglights) and the foglight ballasts were put in front of the tire. Never had a problem with them. I rear ended a Chevy Tahoe on the freeway when an idiot slammed on his brakes in the middle of the freeway doing 65 mph, and took out one of the bulbs. I put the working bulb into the other socket, and it still works, even after both ballasts were smashed by the Tahoe hitch.
I just ordered my new bulbs today so I can transfer them to my ExSpo. When I originally ordered the HID's, it took 5 days to get them. I ordered them on a Friday, and received them on Wednesday. Customer service was very helpful and friendly before I purchased the kit, and they answered all my questions with no problems. I ordered my headlights first, then about two months later I ordered the fog light kit, and the HID kit actually arrived before my stock fog lights did from Ford.
My current ExSpo doesn't have fog lights either, so I will order some fog lights and an HID kit and see which one comes in first again (I bet the HID will).
Here is the Dual 9007 kit (
http://www.mobilehid.com/specialorder.htm ) which is $360, but worth the money if I say so. Or you can buy the single 9007 (
http://www.mobilehid.com/hid-kits.htm ) for $180. I highly recommend Mobile HID, considering what both sets of my HID's went through, and they still work, even with two of my ballasts being smashed. They aren't cheap compared to other HID's, but you definately get your moneys worth.
The kits are also Plug and Play, with the needed relays and wiring harness, so there is no worry about splicing into your existing wiring.
