Oh yeah? I teach math... to college students.
Although, reading your posts, I'm glad you didn't claim to know English as well.
Hope yall ain't mechanics cause if u r ur as stubborn as the one who changed the wrong coil pack on my mom's escape 3 times b4 my dad went n bought one and did his trial and error swappin them until it was fixed.
As a matter of fact, I was a mechanic for more than 10 years. Next time, instead of using trial and error, go to autozone and have your codes read, then replace the coil on the cylinder that is misfiring or the cylinder that is throwing a code for the coil.
Course I know mechanics who swear by K&N for performance and milage. Have yall ever accually used one?
Why yes I have. I have also run several intake systems on
flow benches and compared them to stock intakes, as well as running stock intakes on the
flow bench with "performance" air filters to compare them with paper air filters and no air filter at all.
Oh and have yall heard of a little computer called a Programmer, dealer Mechanic hooked one yo my dad's dodge cause it had something wrong with a few codes he had my dad drive and restart after a code was entered the dodge lost power (mechanic said it would be weaker but way better milage) then waay stronger ( mechanic said it would suck gas way worse) then back stock but he knew what was wrong after reading his computer in these modes and said he wasn't allowex to leave either the gas saver or higher hp mode engaged cause it would void dads warranty. So ur physics is shot to crap if a simple code in a computer can change milage where was the aerodynamic change or the head, piston, injector, gear, etc swap???? Just a simple code enter turn off and start and the truck wad totally different! I want those codes and that programmer!
I'm not going to get into the details of how tuning and all that works on stock engines, because it would be very long, and you aren't in the mood to listen to anyone who can teach you anything anyway. Let's just say you should go spend a few hours on google and learn a little about what you are talking about before you try and argue it with people who have been fixing cars since before you were born.
But I guarantee you that MY physics isn't shot to crap by adjusting spark timing or fuel tables. Also, a tune, if done correctly, won't void your dad's warranty. Pro-tip: A lot of dealers also sell tuners and such, especially for diesel vehicles, and they still warranty the vehicles that are tuned with this hardware.
