I rarely get on explorerforum.com unless I have trouble and that has been a rarity. I have never had a motor problem, and never had a transmission problem.
I have one of the rare jewels in a minefield of first gen problematic explorers. I sit now in my 94 XLT picking up Wi-fi at a local Arby's. I am more apt to sit in my truck than walk inside. I am currently sitting at 385,590.4 miles. She has seen Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana (It has practically seen every highway inside of IN), Illinois, and Missouri. She has treated me as well as a 14 year old vehicle can, and just wanted to spread the word of a wonderful truck.
I shall be shooting video as I cross 400,000 for all of you! Even though you cannot tell that it is at 400,000 because of the lack of the 100,000 mile ticker. What was that all about? Did Ford honestly think that the vehicle wouldnt make it that far?
