ARB bumper...Interested?

general x- they make an air locker for the first gen d35 but I am not sure about the second. I used to have the arb in my TTB before I went solid axle and loved it. I have an ARB in my new axle too

Hey Four-real (daystar) is the same way. They even have a 2nd gen. X in their catalog with a world challenge bumper but appearantly it was custom. How come if the X is the most popular SUV in America we can't get more products?!!!!

Accualy I talked to the Guy at Four-Real(@4WP show), and it was accually his Explorer. He told me the same thing not enough intrest, However they still have the plans for it! So with enough intrest maybe they would make a run. Never know.

With all the Ex's out there being moded why isn't more available for them. We need to bombard the manufacturers with requests for parts for our trucks.
ARB and Four-real are ones to start. Then Warn, rancho, Etc.

You know, as much as I like stuff made for X's, I wish we had some way of knowing what would fit even if it was made for something else. I've already emailed Four-Real and they didn't make any indication that they were going to start making X parts any time soon. Maybe I'm just a pessimist... I'll e. ARB next, but they're pretty proud of their stuff, its pricey...

LA, yea I too would like to know that. only thing anything can be modified to work on the EX. but for myself I don't have the place to do it. so the means more $$$$

It's actually a Ranger bumper, I'm not even sure if they're still offering them, but you could give it a shot base bumper is reasonable, I think, modifications start adding up.

You'll have to do a little something to mount it, it's not a direct bolt-on, but it is close.

We may be building a bar for the Explorer range in the future, unfortunately there is nothing on the drawing board yet. I will add your request to our request files, which are used to help decide which products to build in the future.

Update!

Well I talk to " Michael Brown" Who is the National Sales Manger for Daystar and Four Real. Now some of you have seen the picture fof the old daystar bumper on the green explorer ( I can't find picture) I asked Mike what it would take to build that bumper again. He said they WOULD do it.

Here is the details..

Minimum of 20 bumpers
Price~ About $650 each

I posted that same pic from DayStar a long time ago, and have been periodically checking back, as well as with other vendors, ever since. When I called DayStar in '03, they said it would be in Production by the end of that year. When I called back early this year, in '04, they said it's be ready by the end of this year... I'm sure products with more interest keep bumping us back.

Please keep me posted, I'm definitely interested, and have been emailing tons of places for product info / requests, etc. (BulletProof Mfg., Warn, Rubicon Express, The Truck Farm - before it went Out Of Bus, etc.)

Hopefully the Explorer aftermarket tide is slowing turning...

Wow! $650? Thats pretty pricey isn't it? It would seem that it shouldn't be that expensive. Aren't their other bumpers at least $200 less. I still want one though, they're sweet....
