are KENWOOD KFC-WF253 good or not?

i might be about to buy 2 KENWOOD KFC-WF253 in a box with a pioneer 760w amp. i asked some friends and they didtn know if they sounded good or not they said they wasnt sure because they dont have much expericence with speakers. the whole set for everything is $150, the seller says that they were lightly used. are these subs worht him buying???

i personally wouldnt buy them. you can get a much better product for the money. however everything together is a much cheaper buy than buying them retail.

they tend to prefer ported enclosures in my experience...in sealed they sound peaky with a sharp low end roll off.

just bought

they are a set of 2 kenwood 10" subs, in a box, powered by a pioneer 760w amp. let me tell you that these subs are pounding, and i have the gain set a little bit below the setting that says normal.
