I give you an update on my quest. I finally had a wire short in the transmission, which caused the EEC fuse to shoot. Took the pan of and found the 3/4 solenoid melted the wire off. Have no idea how long its been since the solenoid melted. So the wire finally hit the ground. Maybe my problem. Getting parts to rebuilt the valve body tomorrow.

After checking every thing on the computer side I'm coming to the fact that the TC is bad, maybe. I've heard if it was installed wrong it might no every lockup. The transmission had always made a noise when you let off the gas petal. Even in netural. This is while traveling.

Bad and replace the Torque converter?! What brand would you go with to replace it with?
