Hmmm. Ya wanna see hostility about a chip get me started about Apten!!!!!

The chip is definately the best bang for the buck!!!! If you plan to continue your performance building with this vehicle, I would recommend having a local "speed shop" do the custom programming for you rather than mail order. Call around, there are a lot more places than I expected that are capable of tuning a chip to your specifications. Wish I had known that Pre-Apten.

Well if your set on a new MAF, at least get the Chrome Pro-M, just looking at gives you some jollies

Okay, just for the holiday season, get on down to the local speed shop, buy 3 five gallon cans of racing gas( make sure you get un-leaded) and have at it.
Be carefull, always wear a condom when going up against ricers

ok the guy who said this must sell them or something, does anyone here really gotten power out of those things. the way that it works is it plugs into the iat from what i understand and tells the pcm that the temp is like -100 out. so i would think that you might get some power out of it while your in open loop but the pcm doesn't even use the iat in closed loop! so ehat difference does it make now. there is one time at wot it uses the iat but who wants to go around driving full throttle all the time

Yes Choppin is a dealer. I bought my IAT chip from him. I didn't feel a change but he assured me it's there.

I have around a $1000 into my engine. Only one thing really made me go wow, was simple, and had no downsides.

Go figure it was one of the cheapest things. The T-Body at 200 dollars

I sent for the thing off of Ebay. I hadn't noticed that it required premium fuel. At WOT, with 20 cents more per gallon, it may be helpful. But not when I want to run regular gas.

A better air inlet system would be good. If you have high mileage, you might consider O2 sensors, or slightly larger tailpipes and mufflers. Good luck,

Yes I am a dealer.

I have 3 resistors on mine and they work great. Caught on fire a few times, but it's all good. Just keep an extinguisher with you and you should be good.
