Arizona run - Planning

..Think about it a bit...a little more thinking......C'mon..You know you want to...:burnout:

Time for the CA train to roll East... This train has been out West enough over the past several years. Been to CA already this year, going to Moab in May...

Back to CA in the fall for the Rock Run.

Your right, of course. I just don't have time right now. I am working on retiring in May, and then need to find a few part-time jobs to keep me occupied. As long as they don't get in the way of having fun.

I'm looking for locals to wheel with. This wasn't intended to be a "big" run thread, just a day trip.

..10-42...It sounds so permanent..:(

..This little caboose will be in Bullhead City Wednesday the 27th to meet up with any local area members for dinner or just a meet and greet to help get this ball a rolling..:D...and then I could meet up in Parker or Blythe on thurs. if it's not to hot and if it is we could hit up the river..:biggthump

..I agree that the economy has played a major factor in the decline of local wheeling throughout the southwestern states and all over..

..It does sound like there is enough interest from Cali to set a fall date for wheeling in Arizona though and hopefully it will draw some of the locals out of hibernation..:biggthump

I will be watching for whatever comes up. I still want to go back to Sedona and do some trails there. I wouldnt mind having a relaxing camping and mild wheeling weekend at the cinders. the Mogollon rim is on my to-do list as well. I would also like to take my Jeep to Payson and run the Payeatt Draw sometime. So many options!

Sorry rick, I've been off the site for a few weeks. Since I got my new mini cooper I've been spending my time playing with that, and haven't thought about my truck. Add to that that I got my boat back from the fiberglass shop on Saturday and it looks amazing. Had to take it to the lake yesterday.

I'm probably checked out for the summer. I tend to 4 wheel in the winter, and spend all my time on the boat in the summer. Probably unlikely I'll be out wheeling again until it's too cold to be on the lake.

another white off road 97 mountaineer with a bug guard. we're twins. LOL

Right on. I've been wondering how long till the thing breaks and falls off. Just keeps staying on! I like it, so I don't mind.

You swapped the AWD, your good. Both my exploders leak water. Thats the only problem so far.

Mine is not without problems. It's on its 3rd transmission, the tcase leaks a bit, the passenger side manifold leaks or is cracked, not sure which. Otherwise, she's a strong consistent beast.

And surefooted as a Billy goat. Managed to follow rick through some moderate stuff. Stuck like glue climbing to flagstaff and snowbowl on thick ice roads.

I thought mine pass side was leaking and it was the erg hose had a smal crack in it. (P head motor)
