well Im from columbus,,and I have a 92 xcab 4.0 4x4 STX..
which means...its comfy..its FAST!! and its also the uglyest shade of MINT green in the world..and yes it does actualy glow in the dark..thank you ford factory..

You should REALLY check out the RRORC site..you have a KICK A$$ place to wheel in a little town called wellsville just south of E.liverpool on RT 7..1700 acers of everything.check out the pics of the wellsville May 1st ride..mine is the only one that is really minty green with a black cap and top mount foglights..bad pic..but gives you an idea..

also take into account we had been wheeling the night before.slept on the trail in the cab cus of the stuff in the back..welder.sazall.grinder.4 2x4 sheets of 1/8th stainless steel..3 after YEEHAW got his for driving from TULSA AZ..I Hook my boyz up..2400miles..I can spare $600 worth of materials and time for a custom better than factory plate.
and slept 2hrs in a rest stop cuz I wasnt going to make it to my girls parents house to sleep..and did a quick weld job on the pass side of the auzzie guard cus when I almost rolled it terra-not-so-firma decided she wanted to hold it for a bit..so you can see the sleep-deprivaton welds..but she is pretty much currently identical..

thats why they call it the

hey rich.....if you want a front seat, as of now, i am going to be traveling and wheeling alone. So if you want to ride with a crazy MF, im your man....you don't have to let me know now, but just keep it in mind for when you get their....

that goes for anybody who might want to sit one out, they can ride shotgun with me....with the new lift going on, im all about no holds barred!!! BRING IT ON!!!!

Well, since you guys appear to be serious about this I’ll throw my name in the ring. It sounds like it will be a blast.

For all you Chicago area people that are planning on heading down to Attica on Saturday morning, we should try to coordinate a time and convoy down there.

Looking forward to seeing Riffman, Kanmpy, BigDave and Andre again. And looking forward to meeting everyone else.

I’ll try to keep at least two wheels on the ground at all times

Good to hear from you Cam. With so many people going this is gonna be one heck of an outing. Cam, any progress on that turbo charger? See you in Attica.

Haven’t started the “Turbo 4.0” project yet. That’s actually not accurate. I’m still in the planning stages. There is a lot more involved here than I originally thought. I have a ton of details to work out before the first piece gets bolted on. Things like Turbo lubrication, intercooling, fuel, air and timing control, exhaust manifold design and controlling boost. I’m trying to figure the best way to lower my compression a half a point to 8.5 to 1 in order to help control knock.

Who would have thought that my math teachers were correct. I do need to use Algebra!

Anyway, should start the actual building this fall or early winter. I want to have it finished by spring 2001.

CAM!!! great to hear from ya man!!! hahahaha....yeah 2 wheels on the ground may be a good idea......but if you get all four off the ground....make sure we can get a picture of it!!!! so anytime you feel like going balls to the wall...let us know, and we'll put the video camera on you!! lol.....anyway.......were you planning on going down there for 2 days, or just saturday? the plans as of now, i think, is everyone (who are staying for sunday) are staying at the ramade in Danville....they probably still have some rooms left, or you could bunk in with someone...im going to be alone for sure, andre and dave, so we have more room in our room......just to let anyone know....

Well, Cam, work on the lift has been finished yesterday. I did mention it a while ago but nobody has come up with a helping hand, lol...... it's OK. I know my truck better now (after taking it virtually apart). The only thing that needs my attention is the steering shaft. I have to install the extension in order to fix the problem with binding. Otherwise, it' s great to be able to see over other SUV's. I'll have to work a bit more on my push bar. Even after modifing it it sticks out too much. I'm gonna have to cut it and then weld it back together. It's gonna be permanent so if I do it I won't be able to reinstall it if I remove the body lift or even if I replace it with different one and try sell it. Well, we'll see.

as for the individual about the lift..

I am POOR!!..and I need 2 new tires for the front..$106 a pop..also just dumped $300 for a dam slave cyl and clutch tuesday..that sucked!!!

and the zimmerman TTB cut and turn is an all weekend afair..i will need to take my rig over to a buddys..rip it apart...measure and cut..measure and weld..BOTH sides..and Radius arms along with helm joints at each end..

Im thinking I will do it when I get a beater car..so I can take my time and do it right so its safe and reliable..

check this out!! i just found out that there is a Jeep Jamboree in French Lick, IN (south of Attica) that weekend too!! so hopefully that will take even more people away from the park when we are there!!! rock-a-phonic!!

ya know...this might be a good date to get an anual thing goin......who knows...maybe we could even get some sponsers involved! i know...im probably dreaming, but its worth a shot!!

...hmmmmm....now im starting to think.....since we have 10 rigs now.....we might need a plan of attack at the park. we could run the green trail, but none of us (except you, JJW...) know that whole trail. would you be interested in leading the way? if not, then i think im probably the closest...so i could go there...run the whole trail (as soon as my truck is back together) and then be your fearful...er.....fearless leader.....any ideas? i just think that we need a game plan before we "attack" Attica....

uh...matt....are you planning on taking 55 south to 74, and then over to attica on 74? im not sure that that would be the fastest way.....maybe if you took 57 south to champaign, or 65 south to lafayette.....i dunno....i just think that coming all the way down to bloomington might be out of the way quite a bit....look at a map and e-mail me and we'll figure out a way to hook up....cool?

Hey Riffman,

I have only done that trail a few times, and only once beginning to end. The orange a couple. Have you guys done the tubes yet? The best bet is to put an "average" rig of the the group in front so you know if the rest can make it. Of course the driver has to have steel nads Would that be you Riffman.

The green trail has a few ways to get on. We'll have to look at them when we are a group.

Kampy, you have run the trails out there before right? I think you will have the longest WB out there so your trail memory will be top. I would feel bad leading someone to body damage. Unless you want it ;-)

If we all meet in the quarry, we can do some common ups,rocks,and techs to see where every one is at with their rigs. Good pic opportunity also. What say yee?
