Riff, does the tow truck thats going to be pulling your non lifted, 4x2, high range only, quits in mudpuddles, exploded, exploder into town count as another vehicle on the run?

Oh well, at least we'll have a big winch.

I am also a WIU student, i would love to go. Someone please let me know when you are going for sure and i will hook up with BIG DAVE and make the run. Sounds like a good time, i have been there 3 times on an atv, it is an excellent place to go.

Could you please post the schedule? That is to say, what time is the early morning rally and what time is the late morning rally for those of who will be arriving on Saturday? I was hopping that before the late morning rally I could get some group shots. I'll tell you this time I'm taking tons of photos and bringing my brother's video camera.

That would help me determine what time I'm going to arrive.

Brett....glad to have you man!! We are for sure going the 14th and 15th of october. Some of us are showing up Friday night, though. I believe that BigDave will be there then as well as his lackeys...so will Andre and I. So can i add you to our list? you gonna be there?

Ok...this is best as i can figure for a shedual.

Friday Night:
Riffman, Andre Hyrn, BigDave, and his 2 cronies show up at the Ramada in Danville, and procede to get hammered. (only kidding)

Saturday Morning:
Morning Warm up: show up at the park at about 9:00 or 9:30, and go beat around in the quarry for a while. Maybe check out a little more of the green trial to decide how it is for stockers.

Saturday Mid-Day:
Hang out around the Pit stop, waiting for others to show up. Eat some food, shoot some sh^t, examine rigs...blah blah blah.....

Saturday just-after-mid-day:
Once we have all the rigs, or get tired of waiting, head out to do the Green Trail.

Saturday afternoon/evening:
Assuming that there is time, and desire to keep going, maybe play in the quarry some more, or on the dunes or somthing.

Saturday Night
Now, this is just me, but I thought it would cool for all of us to all go out to eat somewhere. I'm going to need input on this, about what you all think, but we need to figure it out soon, so we can make a reservation for 17,000 people. Im also going to need a head count. whos bring who, and what not....

Sunday uhhh...somtime...
I figure that we can make a plan for sunday on saturday. depending on who wants to run the orange or just beat around some more. So we can make these plans later.


how does this sound to everybody? you like? you don't? any prefrences?

i am going to talk to my buddies tonight to find out who all will come. There is about 20 of us with built jeeps, broncos and my explorer. I think i will only bring one or two. I will let you know tonight or sometime later this week. What town did you say you were staying in?

cameron....well for the morning...we are probably just going to head in, because we are all staying at the hotel....but if you want us to wait for you, im sure we can probably work somthing out...just let us know...

i got one that will come for sure. The group i run with goes to moab, attica, and colorado every year. One family has 7 of the 21 offroaders. We have three different land owners in the group that have acres and acres of trails. It is really cool. I am the only one with an explorer, mostly jeeps.

Yes, I'm still alive, and I'm still going. Riffman, I like your schedule. I'm definately into eating Saturday night.

As far as Sunday, I probably won't run the orange (if that's the tougher trail), though I'd want to see it before I definately decide. I would run some more green, or even ride with someone on the orange. I can always take pictures. I'll be loaded with cameras. Well, at least one anyway.

BTW, I've been very lazy about where I will stay Sat night (just got done with a Florida trip). Anyone camping? I'll probably call the motel tomorrow morning to see what's left.

All this anticipation is building 1 week and 2days...I'm even trying to get home to ready my rig so I've got less cramming on that next friday....I've got an Optima sitting at home that is screaming "install me" Last Optima I bought was bad from the beginning...Lucky me.....Thought I'd remind ya, I said it before but my buddy is comming down in a 91 toyota SR5 w/33's So he'll be wheelin with us....I like how this keeps getting bigger!
