A locker keeps both back wheels the same speed and gives them the exact same power. A locker also will eat tires around turns. Now on this set expect ALOT of noise from the rear. Instead of getting the special center pin he ground down 1 of the teeth to almost nothing. That also looks like a Limited slip to me but I could be wrong. I wouldn't be surprised if this lot does raise to atleast 400$

Auburns are limited slips, not lockers. Unless they came out with a locker just recently.

I have an Auburn in the back of my Ranger, works greay for an LS. :thumbsup:
 






auburn is a limited slip not a locker the pic in that ebay auction is a limited slip... not a locker

they both aid in traction but are very differnt, a locker will provide the utmost traction and unbiased power distribution (50% per wheel) and a lsd will provide a bias of power (percentage changes depending on the situation)
