anyone? i wana get info before i leave work today at 6... somone?> anyone?

both sound like good buys.

will the 5.25 component speakers fit in my 2001 x? will i have to do anyhting to make them fit? or will they just bolt in?

You will probobly need to buy or make an adapter. Won't be too hard. Is the Fosgate amp the 100a2? If it is I would consider getting the 120a2. The 100A2 doesn't have the punch bass boost. I ran a Pioneer IMPP pro off of the 100A2 and It sounded pretty good. Would have been a lot better if it had the boost. I just reread your post, are you running the components of off the Fosgate? If so the boost probobly isn't as important. I am currently running 6x9's with the Fosgate and it sounds good.

right now i have a pioner deck... ph-7300 i think it is... it gives the speakers 30x3 will that be enought for the speakers... will that be enough or should i have an amp for them?

Mike

You're deck will probobly be enough for the door speakers. An amp would probobly sound a little cleaner at higher volumes.

the components sound like a good deal but the amp, i feel your getting ripped off. there are better amps out there for less.

you'll need an adapter plate to put the components in, and the hu will be fine for them.

Are you planning on using that amp for those components? If so they will sound really nice together. That $99 is that with 20% discount or did you already factor it in? Either way good deals on both I say get them.

Can you explain to me how, other than tweeter placement, a component speaker differs from a coaxial?

Thats basically the difference. With the tweeter mounted on the speaker like coaxils the woofer is not allowed to reach full excursion. With the tweeter seperated from it like components the woofer is allowed to make better excrusion because there is no tweeter on the woofer itself. Also it just sounds alot louder since you get to move the tweeter around in different locations. Also the components have a external crossover which just helps with making the signal even clearer to your amp. They are worth the money once you put them in you see the difference like night to day.
