AUDIOVOX DVD......factory installed?

I recently purchased a 2003 Explorer XLT. Included with the vehicle is an Audiovox AVD300 DVD player with a roof mounted monitor. The audio is fed to the radio using an fm station as the source. I was told it was factory installed by Ford. However, where the player is mounted, center on the floor under the second row seat(poor placement), leads me to think it is after market. How it plays is another issue. Any info on this will be greatly appreciated. I'm also a newbie and look forward to being a member.

It could be dealer installed, but very doubtfully factory installed. Hopefully someone else will have a more definitive answer for you.
