Auto Lamps on. when set to off

Out of the blue my headlights and taillights come on at dusk. I have the control set to off on the rearview, I have never used it. It takes about 3 minutes to turn off. Is this a problem with the slider switch on the rearview or is there another switch/relay? Thanks

Probably a problem with the switch on the mirror but I'm not 100% sure. Also, why don't you want to use the auto-lamp function? It's a great feature IMO.

You are right it is not a bad idea to use the system. But I really do not like the lights to stay on for 3 minutes, it just brings to much attention too the rig.
