Maybe I am missing something but I can't seem to figure out how to get the rear climate control to work on Auto. Is this even possible?

I would love to be able to set the temp and have the whole vehicle condition to that temp. It seems I have to control the fan speed manually for the rear. Is this right?

Don't be afraid to tell me I'm a fool and missing something simple...

Thanks!

Although I'm not sure at this point, but doesn't the remote start also control the rear heat/cool if that system is set to on and Remote Start is set to 'Auto' ?I've never really tried it myself. I realize it isn't the same as auto climate and would only work with Remote Start, if indeed the previous statement is true.

Every time I've gotten in the vehicle after remote starting this summer, the front and rear vents were blasting away - regardless of whether the rear had been on or off when the vehicle was parked. As soon as I hit the Start button, the climate control resumes whatever setting it was left at.

Okay, thanks for that info. I thought that was they way the remote start setup worked but wasn't sure.

In MFT the rear must be turned on for it to work in an auto fashion
(beside using the manual rear controls)

Go to
Climate
Lower right corner - Rear
Press that and rear buttons appear;
turn Rear controls on or off,
select fan speed and how much cool air is set,
for AC use put to end of the scale on left,
otherwise it blends AC and warm car air;
Leave it On and it will turn on when you start the car.
But if its off it will stay off when you start the car.
Last setting for On or Off will be kept for next time you start the car.

When I remote start my 2014 Sport on a hot day the rear A/C comes on full blast whether it is turned on or not. If it is not turned on as soon as you hit the brake and start button the rear shuts down.
