dammmmmmmn....i needa talk about this 2 get it out my system,

aight i was pullin up 2 a t in tha road down the street from my house, and i had decided i was gonna turn around and go pick my freind up about 4 houses behind me, so i pulled in a drive way and tried to back out and turn around. i couldnt go to the right cuz there was a party and the street was filled w cars so i backed 2 da left and next thing i no.......were like this \ with the back tire in a 4 1/2 foot ditch and the front tire totally off the ground......... so im like AWWWWWWWWWWWW SH****T and i jump out and have my girlfreind get in the driver seat. i see my homeboy crossin the street and call him and he gets my other home boy they come runnin to help me. 3 people from tha party are standin there and they where like theres a tow truck driver inside who can pull you out but i was like NU UH cuz i didnt have insurance. i got down in the ditch and me and my homeboy went 2 lift that thing up.we both grabbed it and started lifting, but when i got it up i looked and he was just standing there and i had lifted it myself and got it even with the road so the front tire touched. my girlfriend began flooring it, while me and three peaple pushed, shooting mud all over us. she told us she was doing like 75. finally after we all lifted it up we got down there to check, and the ONLY thing even remotly hurt was the bottom of the bumper got skratch by the swewer openeing.....im so lucky. if my mom found out, id NEVER get 2 drive again. this truck is my first car, and ive had it about 3 days, so im guessen that im lucky that my first lil wreck was so minor, but i was so skared. afterwards we went and sprayed it down at my freind house and i went took it home.


i guess i was ALOOOOT more scared then i thaught 2 have been able 2 lift the truck.....my back gone b hurten 2morrow....the worse thing about this was that my neigboors saw, so now everytime i drive past they gone b like yea thats thbe kid who ran into the ditch...

Sounds like fun, I always get the Explorer on 3 whells when I go off-roading. Its scary as hell but fun at the same time. All it needs is a little rockin and its back on all 4. I almost crapped my pants the first time I got it on 3 wheels. Just be happy you didnt join the :roll: club.

im gettin insurance. the guy we baught it from (my moms boss) has been out of town so i havnt transferred it 2 my name. it was so skary kuz it was like me and her listening 2 tha radio, next thing i know, the passenger rear wheel is falling and the front drivers tire is pointing at tha sky.....i was so skared i was gone roll over mostly kuz she aint had her seatbelt on, which is like the first time ive ever been n a kar w her where she didnt put her seatbelt on. i was more worried bout her as it happened, then as soon as i new she was ok, i was jumping out trying 2 get it. i jumped up and was laying on tha hood trying 2 balence it out. thats when i saw my freinds crossing the street and hollered at him.

A few friendly tips:

1.Always wear your seatbelt....no exceptions!
2.Get some insurance before you drive anywhere else
3.Beat up the guy who pretended to help, but didn't.
4.When someone is flooring a vehicle, don't let them go 75....if that thing grabbed right then, it would have shot off like a rocket

there was no way it could have went right then and shot out....the ditch was nearly a straight angle almost 4 feet down....it was literly like this \

and my freind really did help, because i only got it even when i lifted it. aftyerwards we all 3 had to push as hard as we could and lift more (i only got it on top of the sewer pipe...it still had like 2 feet of ditch we had to push it out of). she had only took her seatbelt off cuz i was turnin around 2 park, so we wuz finna get out.


i aint really worried bout tha insurance thing kuz i got insurance, but its jus liability and jus in my moms companys name....

maan my insurance is gunna b like 135 a month........i dont think i need it

If you can't afford insurance, I'd suggest getting an older truck... I'm not sure what I"m gonna do about insurance when my parents won't pay it anymore... I won't go for less than full coverage, but my X and being 18 don't mix with the bank account too well

yea i know its illegal 2 drive without insurance. i simply do not care. i can pay the insurance no problems. i just dont think its fair that i should have to pay all this money incase something happens. when nothing happens, give me my $$ back.

its simple...if you cant afford insurance then GET YOUR ASS OFF THE ROAD. I am sure that will be edited but that is how I feel, Insurance is just that, insurance, and if something happens it wont come directly out of pocket at the time. You could have flipped or shot ahead when you had your GF doin full throttle and damaged a car...you have the money to pay for a totalled car, highly damaged car AND your car? You desperately need to re-think your logic there Einstein.

Not to mention someone probably would have been injured, and you would've gotten to pay for that also...

It's people who choose not to use insurance who make me (my parents anyway ) pay more for uninsured motorist coverage...

And just because you think you're a good driver and won't cause an accident doesn't mean someone else won't cause an accident. And if you don't have insurance, you're out of luck, your fault or not. I've found that it's the people who brag about being good drivers who get tickets, have accidents, and scare the holy living SH*T out of me when I get in a car with them...

People like you that say that just don't understand the concept of insurance, whether it's a rip off or not Example, comes down to two things....(1) would you rather pay $100,000 our of your POCKET b/c of an accident/injuries etc... all because you didn't want to pay your insurance. Or (2) pay the $135 a month and not have to pay the $100,000 bill out of YOUR OWN POCKET.

Trust me, we owned one of the largest Allstate Insurance offices in the US, and had our fair share of experience of people driving cars w/o insurance. Families have lost everything all b/c they didn't want to pay for insurance. $135 is nothing per month, go get a quote on a new sports car like an 03' Cobra or ZO6 (or anything classified as a sports car, an Acura RSX is even expensive to insure) for your age and experience and see what it comes out too, if you can pay it, then pay it, it's worth it.

All of us were young drivers at once (I'm only 21), and have all said "nothing will happen". 99% of the time, something will happen, just a fact of being a young driver no matter what people say. You have no idea how seriously f*cked you can get even for just a minor accident just b/c you wanted to save $135 a month.

I'm not trying to come off like an ass towards you, so I'm sorry if you think that, but a lot of people just don't understand the concept of "Insurance" as Robb said and think it's just a rip off, ask those same people what they think of "Insurance" after they get into a serious or even regular accident...their much happier paying insurance

i have been in one bad auto wreck, which totalled out my truck. the driver had insurance, and all went well. if that driver didnt have insurance, i would have sued their @ss and got 10 times the $$$ i got for my truck and medical bills/missed work.
