Axle seal leaks?

Hi all. I’ve noticed what appears to be axle seal leaks on both sides of my 2008 Mountaineer 4.0L. Took a couple pics last night so I could post them. Does this appear to be the case or is it something else? I watched a video from Ford Tech Makuloco. He makes it look fairly easy to replace but probably not something I would want to take on myself. Is this an expensive repair typically? I figure the seals themselves are not much money.

Yes, looks like the seal is leaking.
I had to do my left front and the seal was cheap from Ford and wasn't too bad to do. If you can pull the axle, you can do it. Just make sure you drive the seal in straight, with the limited room I had to be careful. Don't forget to top off the fluid level once it is done.
