'95 XLT
Hello,

4 yrs ago I sold my '95 XLT to a friend for his daughter to use at school. I had bought a new '14 Focus SE (DPS6 auto trans) to use. Due to issues with the Focus, and the fact the my friend was looking to now sell off the Exp, I bought her back. And, I sold the Focus.

So, not really a new member, just back to make use of the info found here. She has 213K miles, a slight front engine oil seal leak, and a slight coolant leak I have yet to locate, but everything mostly works and I can get around town :D.

Well welcome back!

Thanx. And for those who like pics ...

I'm afraid my friends daughter was too busy with school to keep up with the cleaning, the paint has suffered. And she managed to say hello to a concrete structure with the front bumper. These pics are after I pulled the bumper and used a 3lb sledge to beat the supports back into shape. Now the bumper sits almost like it should. One can see (if here) that the front quarter panels are bowed slightly on each side from the impact.

A/C works, cruise works, even the light under the hood works :D. Drivers window is reluctant to go down, but it will. Not bad for $500.

welcome (back) to EF!!!! thatll buff out ;)

How much did you sell it for? Even with the minor list of repairs, you probably did very well buying it back for $500

A quick pricing history; we bought her from the original owner back in 2001 for $7500. She served our family for general use, and later, just me to cart my track gear and tow track bike, until 2018. I sold her to my friend for $1500 (I could have asked for more from a stranger, but you know ... friend). If I had pointed someone to him to buy, he was asking $700. When we discussed my reservations about keeping the Focus, he gave her to me for 5.

that is one clean truck!
Welcome again
They follow me home too
