How many of your guys and girls have had an issue with the stock shocks? I feel mine are going to the trash bin and was wondering i anyone else has had problems? If you had had a problem, please explain it.

Thank You

PLEASEEEE some body respond! Don't let me be the only response

How many miles do you have on them? I have seen shocks go bad with as little as 30K miles on them, but on average they should last around 60K miles or so.

mine were fine till i hit about 90000. then i changed all 4 of them to some napa stuff and one front one went bad after about 1000 or so. so i bought a completely new set for the front. kinda frustrating.

I replaced the stockers on my X at 80,000 because it would wallow in turns, turned out to be a broken swaybar link. it's got Gabriel VSTs on it and I don't like em very much

ive got VST's on mine and i loved 'em... the first two
weeks. now theyre toast.
dont put VST's on a lowered X.:nono:

Rancho's 9000 adjustable, hard ride on road, pretty good off road.... stock shocks....uhmm they suck!!

I dumped my stock shocks at 4000 miles because I didn't like how soft they are.

If anyone wants to buy a complete set of factory shocks cheap, let me know :D

anyone know if the edelbrock shocks for lowered explorers are available at a regular shop or if you can only order them through certain companies
