How can i diagnose if my TPS is bad. My truck has been very sluggish the past few months and @ cruising speeds, normally between 45 & 55 mph, when i touch the gas lightly the truck seems it wants to stall then picks back up and accelerates. It actually has a bucking feel to it.
you will need an ohm meter and you should be able to hook up the leads and get something through all positions of the butterfly. If you ever get an OL (open) you need a new TPS.
