Oh sh*t I meant to ask does anyone know what the water & regular temp is gonna be up there round that time?

You can find the average temperatures for Baxter State Park in Maine HERE.

Rain totals are listed there, too. Dress for cold, rainy days so that it will be sunny!!

I saw those, don't care about those as those are "average" temps recorded. Has anyone been there around the time we are thinking of going? That would be a better way to judge.

Yup. Cold and rainy, and I've been there when it's blue skys and beutiful. The mountains have their own weather patterns.

Just prepare for anything. There's no way to tell for sure how it will be.

I will deffinatly go actually, its only 177 miles from my place....just give me a time and place!

Okay, so everyone agrees with the 25th - 28th of May?

So it seems so I guess all we need is a defiante tally of who's gonna go & how many guests so we know how many cabins to rent.

I agree with those dates, once we confirm, I'll request the 25 of May off

Now that brings up a whole new question, should we be allowed to bring guests? or should it be club members only I personally want it to be for club members only, but if we choose to allow guests, the guests should be over 21, but I'll go along with the majority. I won't have any problem with the oldest, stuff like this doesn't interest her, but my 14 year old is going to be told that this is mom's weekend away and she is not coming along

I don't have a problem bringing people if they wish. I was thinking bout bringing a friend if he was able to join in the festivities.

We have never restricted guest on any outing... why start now?

Even members can be under 21. Guests of all ages are allowed, but like I've mentioned in the other thread, you're responsible for the behavior of anyone you bring.

I agree. Whomever is brought by a club member will always be the responsibility of that member for their behavior while on the trip. Just common curtiousy.

Thats what I wanted to say, but didnt come out that way. I think some members at one point or another wanna do just a members meet. But, if it happens it happens.

BTW John

Your kids are more mature then me

I though the point of the pre-spring meet was for just members? I'm sure we could do a meet later in the season for just members as well. I could have everyone @ my house for a BBQ, a few cold ones & a dip in my pool.

This sounds like a place that I would like to check out. How far of a ride is it from OOB?
Thanks
JIGA

What's OOB?
My house from Putnam isn't that far if that's what you are talking about.
