heres the old Throttle body! all dirty and tarnished!

hahahahaha Sweet dude,

Just teasin ya, not much to it is there?

You just chaned your throttle response congrats! What other intake mods have you done?

intake mods,.......hmmm nothing i guess! lol what are there?

aside from the BBK 66mm throttle body?
first off the filter and airbox
MAS
tube
then intake plenum spacers
gasket match the upper to lower intakes

Thats about it on the intake side, from mild to wild :)

how much did you get the TB for? And did you feel a difference?

umm read my lil thing under my posting! i have a kkm intake, now i have a bbk tb~ whats the mas? or do you mean maf? mass air flow sensor! what tube are you talking about? and whats the intake plenum spacers? and the gaskets your speaking of?

i payed $194. and some change deliverd to my house with fedex!

Man your on the ball today

Also I edited my previous post..Do you feel any difference and also where did you get it from?

MAFS MAS MAF MAFM they are all the same thing

you need to search.

have you ever been to truckperformance.com?

Check them out, put in your year and engine.

What happens with a larger TB is the throttle response is changed. You might also see an increase inthe engines ability to make power at higher RPM's.
You might also lose some low end torque.

The TB will not increase horsepower on a lightrly modded (bolt ons) 4.0L.

BBK designed the 66m TB to be used with their supercharger (instacharger), on a naturally aspirated engine it takes alot more mods to get to where you need a 66mm butterfly, heads and cam mainly along with fuel management and computer tuning :)

yeah it made me happy to see the fedex truck! lol i made the mistake when i orderd it to not change the billing address! i used the addres i am curently at instead of the address on the card! which sent the place into fraud attack mode! lol but i straightend every thing out and a week and a half later here it is! lol

no i haven't been there yet! i will check it out! and it stand as MAF~~ lol hahaha

Great job Kevin! Nice to see pics in posts. I think it really helps make them a better learning/teaching tool for others. I salute you!

thanks chris! lol appriciated it is! feels good to post something usefull to others

spacer for 4.0L intake plenum would pretty much be have machined or machine yourself deal. Pretty easy to make if you have an upper to trace, or a set of gaskets and some phenolic material (cheap)
