thats bull ****.. now more then ever you can sue the **** out of them.. you did not tell them they could touch your truck to fix it.. and now its allmost done? fthat man.. get some balls and do what everyone else here wishes they could do.. take ford for what there worth!!!!
Have you met with the Owner/GM? Ford tried that once with me. I took in my F250 for a fly wheel and clutch. They rebuilt my transmission and transfercase while they were at it. Then tried to get me for $2k. After I was done with them and a phone call to an attorney, I walked out with keys in hand and cash in my wallet.
Have they verified on a frame machine that nothing was moved? How about your left front wheel?
I got something to say thet seems to be left out. If they dropped it and they bent the frame that could be a major safety issue if you were to get in an accident later on. The frame would bend like a twig in the same spot it was bent before but it could bend too much and hurt you. Don't need to have any safety issues when you are in a car.
i would be willing to bet whoever did their estimate didnt check for frame trueness. more than likely, they got a qoute on bodywork on nothing else. i would be sssoooooooo pissed...
I would not settle for a free bill. They extremely damaged your truck to the point where things may never be quite right again. I can only imagine the frame was bent and then staightened.
