If it was from a early Sport Trac it will only be about 3/4" short. Just use a couple small spacers under the posts.

Do you have any pictures of how it mounts. The reason is I did not go to look at it...My wife did. The guy I talk to swore it was from has 07? That why I could use some pic's of the way it mounts.

I will try and take some pics.
My extender in down in my garage in Bellflower right now.
The posts look just like a door sriker post, I would even think that if the threads were right it would work.
