I recently replaced the serpentine belt on my 2000 ford explorer. In the process, I realized the tensioner needed to be replaced as well, so I did. Now however, there is alot of belt noise, that wasn't there prior to replacing the belt. The noise is worse during acceleration. I thought maybe the new belt was too big and slipping, so I put the old belt back on but the noise persists. I don't want to just start replacing pulleys, but not sure how else to proceed. If anyone can offer me any advice, I would sure appreciate it!
