Is the bolt that holds the belt tensioner in place standard or reverse threaded?

thanks

In the 2000 it's standard thread so I would assume the same in yours. Be VERY careful when changing the tensioner. Make sure you HAND THREAD it in before you apply any wrench action to it. Just to reiterate....Make sure its threading in smoothly, BY HAND, BEFORE you apply the wrench.

Ask me how I know!

The tensioner bracket bolts are right hand thread, however, the center pulley bolt on the tensioner pulley itelf is left hand thread I think.

It is on my trucks.

Just to clarify...what are the bracket bolts?

Im replacing the entire tensioner assembly. So the bolt Im refering to is the one that goes through the center of the portion of the assembly that supplies the tension.
