Do you guys have any suggestions for a nice, meaty exhaust? I have heard a lot of nice Flowmasters on Youtube, I'm leaning towards those. If you have a particular make you prefer just state the specific model. I'd prefer the Exhaust to be on the cheaper side but still get a lot of bang out of it. I'm only in High School so I don't have a lot of money. Thanks.

Thanks, man. Helped a lot.

i love my dual 40 series flows on my 01 sport

I love my dual 2 1/2 pipes to one Flowmaster 40 series dual in-out muffler, 2 1/4 pipes around the spare tire to 3 1/2 slash cut tips, on my 00 Mountaineer 5.0L. Now I just need and intake and tuner.

These are all great responses, thanks guys. I'm really leaning towards the Flowmaster 40s on my 5.0 Mountaineer. I'm just trying to figure out what kind of set-up I want. I'm just thinking whether or not I should get the Exhaust or SVT rims first. :( I wish I had more money, then I'd just buy both right now. :) I can't wait to hook up my Merc.

Damn! Haha, that is what I would want to get. Give me more specifics on that exhaust, that sounds meaty as hell. I love it.

The guy is on the forum, I think his username is the same as his Youtube name. As far as I know, it's just straight pipes, he may have left 2 cats on there but other than that there's nothing.

Yeah, I gotta look him up, that exhaust sounds amazing.

I myself am partial to the Cherrybomb mufflers (not the glasspacks). Had the pro series on my 4.0 sport and it sounded good, and just picked up a vortex for my Nissan Frontier the other day that will be installed on Friday. I was able to pick the muffler up from Pepboys for 56.99 (after it was price matched from the autozone website). The thing I like about the vortex is that it is reversible from single in, dual out to dual in, single out.

I have a MAC two in one 3" tail pipe, sounds good and was only about $250 from explorer express. 97 mountaineer 5.0.

how's the vortex on the frontier vs the pro version on the X, the vortex on my X sounds very "low/deep" for the sohc. how do you like it on the frontier?

Hasn't been installed yet. Waiting til I get paid on Friday to have them weld it up. Your soundclip is part of the reason I bought it, plus I got it for a good price.
