hhmmm wouldnt more arch in the 4 leaf give me more lift?or they wouldnt fit?
you think the thinner leafs take away from any benefit of having it ?

thanks

it would, but it would bring you back over stock... how much i cant say.

the pack comes with a pinion angle shim on the center pin, so its enough to warrant a few degrees of corection there..
im running mine SOA, so i cant say what it would do for you ride height wise

for whatever its worth this is them on my rear.

not many people have used these as far as i know

for $100 a side go for it, and post your results
i gues worst case is adjust the torsion bars to faise the front if it has to much rake

thanks for jumping in on this .couple things though.

my 2000 sport has only 1 leaf in its leaf spring on each side .
my springs are below the axel not above it .

has anyone used these springs from lmc truck on thier sport???

monoleafs (your one leaf) are known for sag. alot of people put the leaves from 4 doors on their sports to fix the sag., yes your leaves would be below the axle, hence why i said i cant tell you the exact difference in the arch as i swapped them into mine when i went spring over axle

either the 3 or 4 leaf pack will be a direct bolt in to your truck even though you only have the one leaf

i couldn't find much feedback on them when i picked up my set,

thanks alot for the info .

yes it has 1 leaf but like 3 other spacers are packed in there with it .

i wonder if the 4 leaf would be too stiff for my short body sport?too bouncy maybe too.?

the 3 leaf is stiffer then the 4 leaf i think. theres a good amount of flex in the 4.

if it was me id call em and make sure the 3 leaf comes with the overload, then if it does swap those in
thatd be your closest to a stock ride whilst fixing your sag

make sure the 3 leaf comes with the overload

overload????i dont follow.

thank you ROE.
did the active suspension give you some lift?even just a little?
do you think it could correct the drivers side lean?

Joe, when I adjusted the RAS to specs, it brought the rear
back up to stock height, maybe 3/4 inch or so. They can be
cranked up more, but the instructions say to adjust them to fit a dime
between the coils, which I did. You can adjust for a side lean if
it's not too much, no more than 1 inch or so.

To install the RAS, the rear shackle has to be removed along with
the U-bolts holding the axle. (The only extra work to install a new spring
would be to remove the front eye bolt).

My advice would be to install new springs to correct the sagging, and
gain some lift. Although I like the RAS, on a cost and labor basis, new
springs would be a better choice IMHO.
Good luck,
ROE

make sure the 3 leaf comes with the overload

overload????i dont follow.

if you look at the comparison picture i posted the short bottom most spring in the stock 4 door pack is called an over load spring

thanks to both you guys .just gotta wait for the weather to break so i can work and make some money .been terrible weather here in pa lately.

i seen a 97 sport in pretty nice shape yesterday for 1595.00 i,ll just bet it could be had for less.
