My 98 E needs a new front bumper, trim panel and lower valence as well as new fog lights (missing). Where is the best place to get OE body components? Also the chrome piece between the rear fender and rear bumper is missing on my passanger side, what is that thing called and where can i find a replacement?

yeah you have. many of them have it. its on both rear corners, on either side right behind the rear fenders. i cant find one anywhere.

Are to talking about the plastic trim piece an the bottom behind the wheel well?

That is the only trim piece I know of in that location.

its chrome with plastic trim on top. its an extention of the rear bumper

Ok, this should clear up the confusion:
here is the left side, not missing

the right side is missing

I finally gathered that piece is what you were talking about.

It might be a salvage yard only piece. I didn't see it in the LMC catalog.

what in god's name is it called?

It is part of the wheel trim
It seems you cant get JUST the chrome piece.

I have several numbers here but none that specify chrome...

" rear lower moulding " and "Wheel opening moulding" are the terms my book uses.
