I'm never had them on a truck but on my 63 1/2 Galaxie I had255/60/15, they are a good tire. I just cruised all the time so performance wie I couldn't tell you anything about them.
might want to watch out when you rotate them. i had a set on a ranger i used to have, a shop cross rotated them and two of them threw the belts. they are a smooth running tire though
I really want to run the 285's but at 11.22 width i'm thinking they're gonna be too wide for a std factory rim as well as too much rubbing when turning.
I had them in 225/70R15, the stock size on my '95 X. They had all around bad traction. Dry traction was ok but on a wet road it was easy to get the truck to slide all over the place. At about half throttle on a wet road from a stop they would loose traction immediately. The tires still had lots of tread too. I would never buy this tire again and I suggest you don't either. There are much better tires out there.
