i have a 2000 explrer ext 4.0 sohc 4wd. it will start and idle fine but will not move. when i put it in gear and give it gas it just misses real bad and shuts off. if i leave it in park and give it fuel it misses some but depending how fast i try to rev it up sometimes it wont miss at all. i put a used transmission in it about 3 weeks ago. it did fine until one day i shut it off for about 10 minutes and when i started it back this happened all at once. i know it is not the throttle position sensor because i replaced it to see if it was the problem. all help is greatly appreciated. i will answerany questions i can. i am an ok mechanic but not too familiar with fords. this is my first.
