billet grille on 95 and up x

if i want to put a billet grill on a 96 x, do i have to do any mods to the grill thats on there?, i didn't get the grill yet, i just wanna know if ill need to put more money in then i plan on? or if someone could just tell me how to put the billet grill in that would be nice. thanks zach

you might need to carry a screw driver in your car in case you need to pop the hood, if the hood release is located in the grill. not sure what year they stopped making the hood release in the grill, but my 95 has it. when i had my grill the screw driver was fine.

I'm almost sure it started in 98+, I have a 97 and I have that problem as well.

Yeah mine is a 97 it has the hood latch in the grille
My mom has a 98 eddie bauer. hers is under the hood in the new location. Hope that clears it up
