So, my transmission was pulled less than 50k miles ago to replace the tranny seal, rear main, torque converter, and pump due to leaking. I changed the fluid in the pan, and the filter a month ago, and the fluid was BLACK. Didn't seem burned, and the truck shifts fine, but I'm worried about what's to come. What is wearing? Is there some preventive service I should/could do? Debating doing a full flush, but wasn't sure if there was something this points to that a could repair before a major failure. It's a 4R70W.
