Blend Door Actuator motor issues

The vehicle is a 98 for explorer. It was always blowing cold air so I traced the problem back to the blend door actuator not functioning. I took apart the actuator unit and inside is a small electrical motor. I hooked the motor up to a 12v source and the motor works perfectly fine. It seems the issue is getting voltage to the actual actuator unit. Can anyone tell me where the actuator wiring comes from. I do not have a manual with an electrical schematic. Are there certain relays that would affect this? Any help I can get would be appreciated. Thanks
