Hello all,

My blower motor only works on the highest setting. 1 is non existent, and 2-3 just slowly blow if at all. Is the resistor part of the heater a/c control unit? I cant seem to find a correct replacement for my 02 Sport trac.

Sounds like the resistor, not the switch, correct?

Thanks bud. I ordered the resistor now. Thanks for the picture. I wish I could give you some well deserved reputation for this and helping me out on the rubber pieces on the bed.

Well I replaced the resistor and.... the plug was burned. Any idea where I can get another, or the applications this fits? If I check blower motor, I see any 00-05 Explorer or 00-11 Ranger will work. Any other ideas? All I need is the factory plug to repin or wire.

Can't help with that one. I know on my sisters Volvo the same thing happened and it required replacing the motor.

edit- Now that I just looked what the resister looks like I understand what you are saying. Maybe time to hit up a junkyard or ebay.
