this is cool i started to do this to mine last weekend, just tor evey thing out. so have you decided on what you are going to do as far as the tail gate goes. fold down, swing out, welded. it would look best as a truck type gate. i like the welded in sheet metal. were did you mount the 4x4 comp bie the way?

either a fold down or a swing out. more than likey a fold down. and the 4x4 comp is behind the seat.

what did that come out of? looks like a 44 bronco axle do you have the radious arms to?

yes i have the radius arms i am not using them though. its out of a 79 f150

alright guys with my time cut sense im leaving for college a month earlier than expected im using the radius arm. i need some advice on how to extend them. also here is the axle striped than primed

Dont extend them.
