Besides the obvious components (body spacers, bumper brackets, filler hose) what needs to be modified to lift a 2000 xlt body 3" ? Shoft linkage? Any steering components? Etc?
I can fabricate new bumper brackets and other basic things.

Does the radiator actually need to dropped or can it be corrected with hoses and lines?
And id like to know more about the steering extension, please.

The steering extension that is included in the body lift kit scares me
What I did instead is actually drill a new hole in the stock steering shaft so it reaches

You can drop the radiator with supplied brackets or leave the radiator mounted to the rad support like stock and simply drop the shroud.

the bumper brackets are the hardest part of the body lift install

I am NOT a fan of a 3" BL on these Gen II Explorers, a 2" BL is a much better fit IMO
You can easily shave your body lift pucks down to 2" instead of 3 and avoid the stress on brake lines and steering shaft
