bodylift ordering disaster

ok heres the deal, i ordered a 3'' performance accessories body lift kit from 4wheel parts a few weeks ago. i ordered a 98-00 ranger kit with the steering extension traded from the 95-97 kit. the guy (SKIP ) told me that would be no problem to switch up the parts on the phone so i was stoked. well the kit arrived and they had sent me a SHIFTER extension instead of trading the steering extension and they charged me 30 bucks for this shifter extension when i didnt even order it. so i call them back and tell them they messed up my order and i need to send back this shifter extension and get my steering extension. well NOW they cant trade out parts from kits anymore...WTF they have to specially order the part from performance accessories. and they want to charge me over 100 dollars for the steering extension now. when i asked about returning the shifter extension they said i have to send it back and pay a 15% restocking fee, and then i get the STORE CREDIT. i dont want store credit.. i just want my damn money back! this is ending up costing a lot more than it was supposed to... this SUCKS! well thanks for letting me vent

now im on hold with skip again..... (been on hold for about 5 mins!) and im trying to cancel my steering extension order because they want to charge me like 115 bucks for it and i can get it for like $81 directly from performance accessories right to my door. (i just now called performance accessories and told them my problem and they were quite helpfull)

oooohhh my god.... he put me on hold then i got hung up on! i just called back and they said hes away from his desk right now and that they would try to cancel it for me but if there are problems they would have skip call me back. im REALLy frusterated!!!!!!!!

well things are starting to shape up a little... i just now ran down to the local 4wheelparts retail store and after talking to 2 employees and the manager, they let me return the shifter extension and credited the money back to my credit card. everyone was very nice and understanding at the store, and in the parking lot was a 3 or 4'' raised white explorer running what looked like to be 31's or 32's. i asked around but it didnt belong to anybody inside the store... so i guess my next step is to order the steering extension straight from performance accessories for their price of 80 bucks or so. at least thats a lot better than the 115 or whatever they wanted to order it for me at 4wheelparts.

FYI, It would have been cheaper to buy the Kit for 95-97 Explorers and then purchase seperatley the Front Bumper brakets from another supplier.

Hey,
would you mind posting the phone # of performance accessories for me?
I can`t find it on the net or anything and I`m having a disaster of my own in the form of shifter extensions that I WANT for my trucks PA body lift, but can only find one for the tranny and not transfer case.
