I have a 91 EB. When the engine is running at about 1500 rpm at 45 - 55 mph, it seems to bog down. I have to accelerate to get over that hump. Any ideas anyone?
Check your spark plug wires. One or more might be worn out. This can be one possible cause of a flat spot such as you describe. It's best to replace the plug wires every 60,000 miles anyway.
Thanks. I will definitely check those. I'm embarassed to say that they are the factory wire on there and the truck has 129K on it. But...I have replaced the plugs
